I was engaged in IT-related business. At the same time, I started learning about Tea ceremony from 2005.
Because of an opportunity to participate in the cultural exchange program with China as a member of the “Japan-China Friendship Mission (organized Ministry of Foreign Affairs)” , I launched a Japanese Tea Foundation, “AVANT-GARDE CHA KAI” in 2009 as an activity to understand the vast world of tea ceremony, which is called composite art.
I held some events such as “Uchu-Cha-kai (Collaboration tea ceremony with professors of Cosmology)”, and “ Hechikan Project (Project to build a tea house together with artists) etc..
In addition, I also produce modern tea ceremony exhibition at art galleries. I’m still undergoing training of my tea master, but I produce a place that young people of same generation are in contact with tea ceremony willingly.
